Pocaterra Ridge

We did it. We picked ourselves up and dusted ourselves off and headed back into the mountains to do the hike we had planned! It was stunning. We did a point to point 12 km trek along the Pocaterra Ridge in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in the Kananaskis. It’s at the Highwood Pass and the elevation is 2941 m. It was absolutely stunning. The tamarack (larch) trees have finished dropping their needles so the forest at the bottom of the trek was a golden carpet. Thanks for all your well wishes yesterday regarding our incident. The Audi is in for “inspection” and we don’t expect any news regarding repairs for at least a week. The insurance company is working out the details. Ron says he’s claiming a full tank if gas ;)
