Wet, windy and atmospheric, very windy in fact, it kept trying to blow me sideways into the streams either side of the path, and I'm nine and a half stone! I actually rather enjoy weather like that, although most of the group didn't. I was the back marker and was trying to keep those ahead of me in sight while also trying to check on the one behind who'd had to stop for a minute.  The path is inbetween Shining Tor and Cats Tor just north of Buxton.
