Same route

Fabulous weather for the time of year. Went out around 11 for a walk on the Overcliff to the goats and back.

We walked in T-shirts. Despite the breeze, it still felt warm in the sun.

The sea sparkled. The sprinkling of clouds cast pretty shadows on the water. See blip.

Returned for lunch, and kept 1/2 an eye on the Nadal / Djokovic match. Between games I prepared and baked a spelt & rye bread for the first time. Cheated by making the dough in the bread machine. It looked a tad bubbly when the program finished. So I kneaded it a few times before popping it into a Dutch oven.

Have just tried a slice. The flavour is really excellent, but the bread is a little dense and heavy. (Photo in extras).
