KALE

I have spent two days picking, washing, stemming, blanching and freezing kale. My spring and fall kale has been a bumper crop. I picked a couple packed bushels these last few days. We even had some for dinner last night and the leftovers for dinner tonight. I have to admit I do not want to eat or even see kale for a while. It will be nice this winter though. Hubby cooked crabs and we picked them after dinner. The meat will be a treat this winter as well. You have to think ahead and prepare! It was a good way to spend a rainy day.
