Apples grown on our WV farm and I am not afraid to say they are delish. I made a big pie (see extra), 5 hand pies and a dish of apple crisp today. I also froze kale and cooked a pot for dinner. Hubby crabbed the pots and tomorrow I will pick crabs and he will make crab cakes. With the food prices and the slack shelves we are filling our freezer for the long cold winter ahead. I sure hope we can afford to heat the house. The tide is high again and forecast to be higher tomorrow. It is suppose to start receding after that as the wind is supposed to come around N.
