Freeing frenzy

Learned a new camera technique for MonoMonday to add to last week’s double exposure.

This week it’s intentional camera movement which I’ve seen many blippers use to good effect. After a bit of research and faffing about I discovered the Slow Shutter app for the iPhone which does ICM amongst other stuff. As with anything you can have the gear and no idea so it is with some trepidation I offer today’s contribution to MonoMonday, hosted by GadgetKid - thank you.

We pass by the edge of Mote Lake on a regular basis and there is usually lots of people feeding the waterfowl and gulls. Today was no exception with a raucous bunch clamouring for food. I’ve found it a challenge to capture the frenzy on a photo so I think this does give a sense of the movement and flapping that was going on. You just don’t get the noise!

It’s been a dreadful afternoon, wet and cold. The central heating is on. I’ve a load of apples dehydrating and some milk being turned into soft cheese in the new yogurt maker. Making cheese from some organic milk that’s going off. Not made any yogurt in it yet!

Chris in California moved into his new house yesterday. A significant step and very welcome.
