Autumn tints

An energetic Saturday. The usual walk into town and back this morning for a bit of shopping and the essential coffee. It was through Mote Park that we noticed the first turnings of the beech trees against the rest of the green leaves and the silhouette of branches.

Home in time for lunch and a quick turnaround as I was refereeing my first men’s game of the season at Cranbrook while Susan was up helping her mum.

We managed the walk ok but in the afternoon the rain was heavy and thoroughly unpleasant for the match. More like January than October.
