Stonehaven beach

We've come to Stonehaven for a short break.
We were originally booked to come here at Easter, but of course Covid put paid to that. We re-booked for this week once self-catering could restart, and were relieved last week that the latest restrictions didn't prohibit travel, as we were expecting to have it cancelled again.
It will be nice to get some time to chill, and to disconnect and recharge for a few days.

Main photo: there's a lot of driftwood on the beach and some has been made into these 'wigwam' style constructions right in front of our beachfront apartment. Not sure what more is behind their construction  but they're quite striking.
Extra: the setting sun shining on the breaking waves (and seagulls).
