Why Did the Ibis Cross the Road?

I see this small 'flock' of White Ibis just about every day as it wanders it's way through our neighborhood. They seem to know which yards have tasty insects which are safe to snack on and which yards not to visit because they are sprayed with poison! Ugh! The darker birds are juveniles.
