Polyphemus Moth

Spotted this Polyphemus Moth Antheraea polyphemus on the edge of our driveway this morning. They are sometimes called 'the giant silk moth' and have an average wingspan of 6 inches (15cm). Check my *extra for a shot I took this morning as we drove out of our neighborhood. Some of you expressed an interest in the White Ibis I posted yesterday. So here are more of that same flock. I'm guessing that there were upwards to 30 or more birds in the flock this morning!
