Wound up in Wexford

Rough castle fort

We woke to yet more rain, and it was tempting to opt for a day of sloth in our AirBnb flat.

Fortunately, we stirred ourselves.  We decided to drive up to Falkirk, to see the wheel and the Kelpies.  I looked at my weather app, and saw that in fact the weather looked better in Falkirk, and the app did not lie.  As we drove north, the rain eased, and then stopped, and we even saw some sun.

The Falkirk wheel was spectacular, and the Kelpies were also a great sight.  Both are in extras.  But my best photo was this lone tree.  We walked up from the wheel to the site of a Roman fort on the Antonine Wall, and the cloudage behind this tree drew my eye.

Afterwards, we stopped at an impressive charging installation at Falkirk Stadium - 5 fast chargers, and at least 8 slower chargers - and topped up our batteries.
