Autumn at Dunham

I met Margaret at Dunham Massey this morning for a lovely walk. We picked the best day of the week. We arrived 10am there was a car queue, lots of people had the same idea as us. We had a lovely amble round the deer park then in the garden . A nice stop for cake then up to the monument which was covered in ladybirds. What a difference it makes walking with someone. It was fabulous. We are hoping to meet up again in a couple of weeks and do the same but at Quarry Bank Mill.
The extra is Matt and Jade. He got down on one knee and proposed to her. They are on holiday. Thankfully she said yes! She tells me the wedding will be in 2022.
