Porlock Weir

We've had a good day on the first day of our 'not Iceland' trip. We're in North Devon at Minehead for some exploration. We stopped at Robber's Bridge in the Doone Valley. It's a great location but they seem to have demolished parts of the bridge for us. I suppose the truth is that it's a VERY narrow bridge and it's no doubt suffered some damage and highways have chosen this week the take down parts of the parapet and rebuild it. It takes away a little of the charm but I'll no doubt add it to an album when I get time to do so.

We went to Porlock Weir after that to catch the sunset but it didn't really play ball but that's my blip with a bit of colour in the sky to fit in with BobsBlips theme of 'Nature's Colours' for Wide Wednesday (thanks Bob).

After that we met up with ex-blipper PaulaK in the pub there for our evening meal. It was good to catch up.
