The decay of a wild rose

My drivers license needs renewing. I had a friend of mine, who knows how to use a good camera, take a picture of me so I can send it to the authorities and get my new license. We need to renew our license every ten years, which means my next time for renewal will be in 2030. I never thought a simple matter of renewal would put a whole new perspective on my age.

No blips were taken today, so before the light went away I took a picture of the decaying wild rose growing outside my bedroom window. It has such lovely leaves towards the autumn of its life.
