Violet carpenter bee

I was opportunistically collecting chestnuts on the track. Saw this VCB on a chestnut hill/husk/case? They’ll be looking to hibernate now with the cold wet weather.

Finished sweeping the chimneys. Got my new identity card. The new flush actuators arrived. The Boss went out looking for the courier and found him delivering to a local factory. The actuators are fitted and another remnant of the previous occupiers is gone.
