Poppy

I spotted this at school yesterday, so took my camera with me today. I braved the rain to snap a couple of pics of this gorgeous fuzzy poppy in waiting.

I took Abe for a long walk this afternoon. He was good for the most part, but was a bit frustrating when he became so intense that he couldn't settle. A little squat with him in the wet grass while he calmed himself down and then we were on our way again. I struggle not to get grumpy when he gets like that, but I have to remind myself that he's not doing it on purpose.
