The joy of winter

Well, the snow came today. And it didn’t take the girls long to be outside making a snowman and playing.

I was in my office working when I started to hear kids playing and laughing outside. Of course it was them.

I noted how it changed the dynamic of the first snowfall. From, “Oh no winter comes in mid October,” to laughter and joy in the falling snow. It helps pick up ones spirits.

I expect they will be gone soon and things will get really quiet again. But for now, let’s enjoy it while we have it, ok?
