Outdoor Birthday Party

Due to The bloody Covid it was another outdoor birthday party, mine this week.

Before that we took Laura and the boys to Hinterland for some lunch which was good as usual. Mum texted to say she had a dizzy head so she would not be tonight sadly.

We upgraded from the chiminea to this fire pit as it let’s off more heat. The fire was a great success and so warm and luckily it was a good still night so the smoke was heading straight up. Something g very nice sitting out at a fire in the dark.

Cameron made the cake (Delish) pizza was delivered and marshmallows were toasted. Not bad really and that’s me another year older ...

Always a bit wary of surprises being a control freak my husband excelled himself with a three night break away to the hotel in Glenfinnan where we went for dinner one night when away in September. I had mentioned to him a few weeks ago that I hoped he was giving my birthday present some deep thoughts LOL!

Also got a good book on houseplants (not as boring as you think)!
