Junction

The canal was quite still as I passed over Dock Lane Swing Bridge and admired the view down to Junction Bridge, with some warm autumn colours to enhance the scene.

I was walking over to football at Eccleshill. Bradford City Women were hosting Sunderland West End Ladies in a Women’s FA Cup tie.  West End play two tiers below City but left victorious - City had had more of the play but the Sunderland team were more effective where it counted.
