My week

Well, as if things aren’t crazy enough, now I’ve been summoned for jury duty.

Tomorrow as I understand, I will go and sit in a big room and wait to see if my number gets called. It will take all day.

I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I have sat with many victims of violence and injustice, some of which has been made worse by the systems of justice we presently live with. So I have opinions about how this works. But I don’t have experience with this side of it all.

So tomorrow I’ll experience something new.

Maybe I can get some work done while I sit and wait.
