Mono Monday - Reflections

A super day today with two walks with friends, this morning was at Felbrigg with H and this afternoon on the Holt Lowes with G.....and it didn't rain! There was lots of fungi still around and it was lovely to see the wild horses on the Lowes - please see the two postcards of these in Extras. My main photo is on the mono Monday theme of reflections and is reflected branches in the pond at Felbrigg. Thanks to random_angel for hosting.

Day 218 / Day 6 of The 3 Tiers (for my record only)
UK deaths up 80 to 43,726 (revised basis), with a 18,804 rise in new daily cases, 5,608 patients in hospital and 592 in ventilator beds. Wales is to have a tough 17 day 'firebreak' starting from 6pm on Friday with people told to stay at home. The number of patients in hospital in England goes up 47% in 1 week. Ireland is going into the highest level 5 of their restrictions for 6 weeks from midnight Wed. Italy and Belgium bring in tougher restrictions, Belgium fearing a 'tsunami' of infections they can't control. Day 8 of the dispute between the Govt and the Gtr MCr Mayor about moving to Tier 3 restrictons. This is despite cases per 100k in over 60s in the area having gone up to 283 from 171 in a week, higher than Lancashire which is already in Tier 3. A Gtr MCr MP has also been admitted to hospital with the virus and the Govt predicts that even with the Nightingale hospital, intensive care capacity will run out in the area by Nov 12th unless action is taken.
