A sunshine drop

There's no doubt that we have missed the sun. Today definitely felt like we might be heading towards spring at last. The birds have been singing for several mornings now and today there was lots of springlike activity.

It has not been the best couple of weeks for me for reasons which I won't go into. Suffice to say that I woke this morning feeling very low in spirits and disillusioned about how reliable and trustworthy people can be.

So I went to see a friend in the sunshine and returned feeling a little restored. Not least by these beautiful harbingers of spring.
