Tiny Tuesday . . . Hard

I felt a little sad when I looked at the back of this Paua/Abalone shell because there once was a mini marine ecosystem living there.  The forester/diver removed the Paua on a dive and we prepared and ate it and enjoyed it without a thought for the other creatures who were a by catch or collateral damage.  Life is complicated when you are at the top of the food chain.  There is a pile of shells that collect dust beside the fireplace.  Thanks to Phillipa for being host this month.  It has stopped raining thank goodness.
