River of Flowers

Dydd Mawrth/Tuesday

Ladybird - in Welsh “buwch goch gota” : buwch is cow, goch is red, gota is short  - short red cow :-)) ... spotted on our front wall when I was looking for some nice stems of a very fragrant yellow rose which I want to take cuttings from. Gave it a little nudge, wasn’t sure if it was sleeping or dead happily the former. When I zoomed in with my phone noticed lots of tiny insects, aphids, which the ladybird was munching.
Wind has turned to the south and weather much milder.
Did a bit more clearing in the greenhouse and the veg garden next to it. Finished pruning the eating apple tree next to the garage and swept the leaves up and mulched the wild garden with them.
Put MrD’s thick fleece jacket in the washing machine along with a few other bits & pieces, washing machine went through it’s cycle ok then had a bit of a mechanical strop ... red spanner icon on the display and a sad little tune kept repeating ... I pressed the OFF button, put the soaking wet clothes into a washing up bowl, MrD carried them outdoors where I’ve hung them on the line. Tomorrow I’ll try a very small amount of washing to see if the machine has come to it’s senses, anyone who knows magic spells or secret prayers, your contributions would be greatly appreciated ... xx
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
