No blight!

I'm impressed that in October, here in the Lake District,  the tomatoes on the outdoor plants are still ripening. Whenever we grew outdoor tomatoes in Kent; the garden of England, we would, as regular, as clockwork, get tomato blight over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Not sure they will all go red though and am grateful to 60plus for recommending fried green tomatoes.

Cumbria Coronavirus News:-
We may be the only region in the North West not in Tier 2 or 3 but the hospitality industry here is still complaining. That's because a big chunk of the customers come from the rest of the North West - Blackpool, Manchester, Blackburn, Liverpool - etc etc and those people are not supposed to be travelling at the moment. Anyway we prefer them to keep the virus to themselves. But that means we need tourists from somewhere else come and stay because our holiday hosts are desperate
