High Light

Just as I went outside the sun disappeared, but high in the sky clouds were still catching some light. I set up a composition using my 18mm wide angle lens and briefly a hole appeared in the cloud allowing the sun to illuminate the foreground reeds.

There was quite an extreme distortion to the trees leaning in from the right caused by tilting the lens upwards in order to get as much sky in as possible. Although I could correct for that in LR, the resulting crop chopped off a lot of the reeds which didn't look very good. Using Photoshop's warp tool provided a much better result.
