Jacarandas

It used to be said that if you hadn’t started cramming for final exams by the time the jacarandas were flowering, it was too late.

There’s also a perhaps apocryphal belief that jacaranda seedlings were given to new mothers in decades past.

Either way, the jacarandas are in bloom across Sydney.
