Autumn Harvest at Harwell

Spent the morning stocking up on essentials, including an expedition to Newbury for, amongst other things, a haul of greetings cards; new home cards, birthdays, sympathies, thank you's and (yes) charity Christmas cards.

Didn't get out for much of a walk; everything is so wet after Storm Barbara yesterday. However we did come back via Harwell Campus.

We have had some great Autumn colours this year, however we lost the only conker tree in our road a few years ago, and Harwell Campus has always been a great place for horse chestnuts.

Had to be a bit careful with the camera - this is part of an old nuclear licensed site - but this combination of conker husks with the new light sculpture outside the Harwell Campus Management Office was worth a shot.  (Nothing Top Secret here!)
