Not all that glitters is gold...

The wildflowers here are mostly seed heads now...except for the wild roses which are still sporting red leaves.   The Seek app was not too good at naming what these flowers were as it mostly said they were in the aster family.   

But they are still pretty in their old age.    Trying to pick one photo to post is hard because everything is so different from what I usually see and photograph. So collages might be the way to go for the next little while as I don't have any extras remaining!  

 

It was really really cold here...14F (-10C) this morning with it barely getting above freezing.  I waited until mid afternoon to take a walk as the sun was trying to break through the clouds.  Tomorrow is supposed to be windy and cold again..with snow/wintry mix starting tomorrow night.
