On The Water

Twas early.

A short while earlier I was lying in bed and contemplating catching the sunrise up on the hill.

I was soon headed hillward and after a very short drive, found myself crossing the canal by the old bridge whereupon a quick glance to my right gave me a view of these boats on this early Sunday morning.

I pulled in to the side of the road and very quickly realised that I wouldn't be reaching the top of the hill after all this morning.

And here I stayed awhile...
