On a rainy night in Harrogate

..... I came across this giant illuminated 'book' installation in the library gardens. It is part of the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival which has been taking place this weekend. As I arrived it was telling a Shakespeare tale, but then went on to feature the history of the town accompanied by dialogue and old photographs. In spite of the weather (pouring rain), there were quite a few people gathered in front of the display.
The main photo here is part of the depiction of Harrogate during the last war. 
Due to Covid, the festival has moved to a digital format this year.
