Day 216 Autumn Glory III

The rowan is now showing its full  fiery autumnal colours.  I've set it on a background of the robinia  and then a tree in in the next street so there are three layers of  seasonal colour.  I haven't been far afield yet again today, so plenty of time to mess about with photographs.  Mr MC went out to umpire then play hockey, while it's still permitted and Violet popped by with her mummy after her ballet class to see if I needed any shopping.  While they were here I booked our Santa Special carriage on the Epping Ongar steam railway.  As this year we can only book compartments for 6-8 people (who must be a household or bubble)  I'd left it too late to book the date we ideally wanted so end of November it is.  We took Violet on the Santa Special two years ago and it was just magical.  Of course it will be a different experience this year with no personal chat with Father Christmas, but they have promised us the best experience that they can give in the circumstances.
