Glen Spean

We battled our way south from Dunvegan against horizontal rain. The water was pouring off the hills in a similar fashion to what we saw on our way to Milford Sound when we spent 2 months in NZ 6 years ago.

As we approached Spean Bridge we could see snow on the Grey Corries - that wasn’t there last week. The autumn colours along Glen Spean were lovely so that’ll be today’s blip.

(We decided not to take the direct route home as we thought heading across to Dalwhinnie and then down the A9 via Pitlochry would be a change.) we are wild camped on the old military road near Dalwhinnie the rain has stopped but it is already dark at 5pm.
