Lighting a Sparkler

The bonfire and Rose, one of our 3 guests celebrating the completion of the new veranda at Betty's.
The fire had been waiting at least two years to be burnt, covered with a tarpaulin, so it was good and dry. I'd uncovered it earlier in the day and had something of a sort through the materials, mainly to make sure nothing was hibernating inside.
A small amount of petrol set it off and once burning it quickly took off, making it something of a challenge to light a sparkler!
