Knitting

I tried knitting once, but it didn't go very well. I'm not sure I'd ever have the perseverance to complete anything good. My mum, on the other hand, enjoys it. She's knitting herself some kind of stripy cardigan at the moment.

It was nice to spend some time at home today after work, relaxing, drinking tea, and telling my family all the exciting stories of the past week. This evening I went to a youth leaders' event on mental health and youthwork, which was very interesting and informative. Mental health is something that needs talked about, the taboo and stigma surrounding it needs to be broken. It was good to catch up with a couple of friends who were there, too.
