Follow the Leader

I took a short walk along the Basingstoke Canal from Frimley Lodge up to the canal centre at Mychett and back.  The Autumn colours have really developed now and, with little wind, the canal waters were mainly still and refecting the surroundings beautifully.

The only things disturbing the still waters was a lone paddle boarder, an occasional moorhen and a flock of Canada geese meandering slowly up the waterway.  Most of the time they swam in single file, and I caught this shot as they swam under the swing bridge. A few seconds later they had broken formation and the moment was past.
