The Old Forge (Sunday 25th October 2020)

While I was tidying and sorting the bedroom and the loft above there came a deafening clattering sound from below and I came downstairs to discover the fiercest hail storm I can remember, hammering on the polycarbonate porch roof. I grabbed my Pentax K-1 Mk 2 to record the scene. The low light levels meant that the camera could not capture individual stones, which are shown as shards of streaking descent.

For Slow Music Sunday 6 Music presented this electronic interpretation of Bach's 1731 composition Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068,  as interpreted by August Wilhelmj for his 1871 arrangement called Air on a G String.
