Demolition site - the other bit

The demolition site opposite us wraps around a couple of older buildings that were apparently offered for sale to the same developers, but at a price they were not prepared to pay. Or so we heard from someone who owns a local business. The two buildings in question are visible here.

The front of the demolition site backs onto Bonnington Road and at the other side of this you can see the Biscuit Factory, who have been complaining like mad about being stuck in the middle of a demolition site during a pandemic when they are not allowed to hold the noisy events that we often complain about.... If they ever do get back to holding monthly club nights, I think the conversations between the Biscuit Factory, which has zero soundproofing, and those living just next to it will be 'interesting' to say the least.

This photograph and blip is more for my records than because it has any photographic merit.... They've nearly finished over here.

Meanwhile, slow progress continues on the other, main part of the site opposite us. As usual, most of that progress seems to consist of moving piles of concrete rubble from one place to another.

A fairly usual Monday for me, broken up by walking down to Milk for a coffee and a change of scene. Unfortunately I got a bit damp walking down there, so I didn't stay that long as I was getting cold (as they keep all the doors open). I had an enlightening and useful meeting in the afternoon.
