If you want to have a benign crossing of the Pentland Firth, when leaving Orkney, then you'd better get here quickly.  A beautiful flat calm morning but the week is meant to be downhill from here.

For recent good behaviour I am being taken out for lunch again. I learnt all my best table manners when I was janitor at Roedean.
