Mionphictiur

is the Irish word for miniature picture or image.

This is my smallest piece of art; the canvas is only 5x5cms.

It’s based on Franz Marc’s ‘Foxes’ and the original is a beautiful, geometric illustration of 2 foxes in repose.

The extra shows my mock up and colour testing. It took a lot of patience and I enjoyed the time spent.

So this is a miniature or let’s say mionphictiur (for Tiny Tuesday ending in R)
