Poor vis nav

Most definitely a skills day, and that rarest of things... IntotheHills navigating in earnest at times. The Ralfland Forest (tip - there are no trees) made for a testing day out. I'll probably go back at night.
We'd chosen our desolate location carefully to avoid the forecast awful weather due to arrive by midday.... But in the eventuality it was fairly minging from the get go.
We were too wt to risk cameras when we saw the heard of deer, there were spectacular miniature lichen forests, but this shot seemed to sum up the day best.
If you're truly eagle eyed (& I'm not) there's a blipper somewhere in this shot. Interestingly descending the most prominent of three little hillocks... But the only one not named. More Cumbria oddness.
