Carolina Wren

Behind my house there's a stretch of woodland beside a creek, which is within out local park system.  I don't think to visit because it is literally too close to home.  I'm trying to stay away from people as much as possible, in preparation for a trip to New Jersey to help my daughter care for her newborn (her due date is today but the baby hasn't made his appearance yet), so I went for a stroll back there.  I spotted a deer, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Dark Eyed Juncos, American Goldfinches, and several of these wrens.  I'll give the path another try after the predicted rain post-hurricane Zeta makes its way through.
