The queen of pepere's heart.

Eleven now, I made this print from a photo I took of my granddaughter on a visit to Chicago in '09. Of all the things we no longer do (eating out, going to galleries, movies, thrifting to hunt for vintage cameras), missing out on being part of their lives (Miles is nine), my daughter and son-in-law's family, is the part I consider a sacrifice. Everything else is little more than an inconvenience.
