The Golfers

Tee time at the Grangemouth golf Club. In the background (you may just spot it) is the Ineos complex at Grangemouth. What you are seeing there is an ethylene cracker; makes the raw material for polyethylene amongst other things.

I've grown up with this complex near me my whole life, it is part of the fabric of where I come from. I remember being told the place was really ugly by a girl that hated passing it on the motorway. We have an oil refinery attached. I don't think she really got the irony of what she said. It has to come from somewhere and this is where it comes from in Scotland.

I've worked here for 20 years.
