Castle Street

We met son and d-i-l in Farnham for lunch. M works in a school so she is on half term, so J has taken the week off too. Farnham is normally an easy journey for us but the traffic was horrendous and we were stuck in jams for long periods. But we got there in time and enjoyed a really good lunch in The Giggling Squid, one of a chain of Thai restaurants. Excellent meal in pleasant surroundings, but above all, good company. The restaurant is in a very old building and the decor is interesting. However, I wasn’t very impressed by the flower arrangements! (see extra).
The restaurant is situated in Castle Street, an elegant wide Georgian street that cuts right through the middle of Farnham. Another time I would like to have more time to explore.
