Kio on TV

We decided to take a trip to Worcester to have a look at the house Emma and Andy are buying.  It's very nice in a pleasant area close to the racecourse and a short walk to the hustle and bustle of The Tything, one of the main thoroughfares in the city.

We had a good walk round, stopping off at one of the many cafes for a drink.

The main picture was not taken in Worcester.  My lovely granddaughter, Kio, was on Japanese TV today.  The tech program Catch Japan on NHK World-Japan had a piece about a powerful electron microscope made by Hitachi Hi-Tech, the company Andrew works for.

The idea was to get young people interested in the technology via the use of remote video links.  Kio chose cinnamon sticks as her close-up sample.  She controls the microscope under the supervision of the tech guy.

So no apologies for using a TV grab shot, it's not everyday I get to see Kio on television!
