Every Cloud...

Well, it piddled down this morning on our bike ride up and down the iconic Monsal trail. Mrs Tuttle got a muddy ar5e (no mudguards) and D wasn't impressed with her trike. Tuttle Jnr and myself had a Tandem, with mudguards. But the fun we had riding a tandem for the first time, Mrs Tuttle not being able to see through her glasses every 77yards and D being totally convinced that her trike kept balancing on two wheels. Our clothes took some rinsing when we got back to the hotel for sure. We ventured around Bakewell town centre for a bit while the sky cleared and offered welcoming sunset. The day finished off with drinks in the bar then a late-ish hotel meal deal. I made the most of it and went for the Ribeye Steak, as you do. Pudding? Chocolate Orange bread and butter pudding. Mmm, the food in Bakewell is damn good.

Bring on Chatsworth House tomorrow.
