Fidra

The sun was out today so we packed a barbecue and went to the beach. The show was over, Sadie wasn't working. We're back to work and school tomorrow so this lovely day seemed like a blessing for us all. If you walk down the path at Yellowcraigs towards Fidra and take a left, after about twenty minutes you come to a beach that is quieter and more sheltered - an excellent spot for a barbie. The sun was just rising high enough in the sky to shine over the small dunes at the beach edge where we set up.

It was great. Fiona had made flasks of coffee and hot chocolate. Fiona and I had coffee, the boys had hot chocolate and Sarah had a mocha. After we cleared up we took a leisurely and very pleasant walk back along the beach before returning to the car and home.
