The Hide

Today's the day ……………………… to transform

Everything seemed to have moved on a season when we went for a walk along the banks of the River Tarff today.

The extensive reedbeds had changed colour to a reddish-brown and looked all set for winter.  That's a hide that you can see in the middle of them - which apparently is a good place to see kingfishers from.  It's easy to imagine that a kingfisher would be very much at home in such a setting.

Meanwhile, in another place, there was another transformation going on (see extra) - very appropriate for this special night of the year ………………………!
