Always good to stop for a meal at The Clachan Inn - an award-winning pub situated in the picturesque village of St. John's Town of Dalry on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park, half way along the Southern Upland Way.

It has won several awards recently including CAMRA Pub of the Year 2019 for Dumfries & Galloway - and so it's not so easy to make a booking.  But well worth it if you do ……………………...
